Buderim Waterfalls

 

Buderim Waterfalls, also known as Serenity Falls, is hidden in a tropical oasis only minutes away from the town of Buderim. Nestled away amongst the tall trees is various cascading waterfalls served with a side of spectacular scenery.

 

Make a day of it! The area possesses the best picnic locations in the Sunshine Coast. So, don’t forget to pack a picnic rug and stop at the local’s favourite, Café Vie, for some plant-based takeaway.

Noosa National Park

 

The Noosa National Park is one of the Sunshine Coasts’ most prominent natural wonders. Lace up your shoes and get ready to explore not only our world-renowned beaches but our rare native plants and wildlife. The Noosa National Park offers accessible and family friendly walking trails.

 

A favourite track amongst the locals is the coastal track, offering large scenic views from Hells Gate Lookout and the chance for a quick dip at Tea Tree on the way back. Discover Noosa’s former secret, the fairy pools, located along the track at the end of Granite Bay. These natural tidal pools are best enjoyed on low tide for an amazing worthy experience.

 

Mount Coolum

 

Few sights will match the awe-inspiring coastal view of the Sunshine Coast. Only a 25-minute drive from Noosa, Mount Coolum is the perfect family outdoor activity to tick of the bucket list.

 

The best time to tackle the 1.6km walking track would be late afternoon for a cool breeze and picturesque sunset. Whilst it may be an invigorating workout to get to the top, the 360-degree view is nothing but spectacular. If you’re yet to climb Mount Coolum, you could be missing out.

 

Kondalilla National Park

 

Take a walk on the wild side at  Kondalilla National Park. It’s best known for its cascading waterfall and family friendly rock pool nestled deep in the rainforest of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Get a change of scene from the beach and enjoy the idyllic panoramic views as you dip into refreshing water.

 

It’s quite possibly one the most stunning locations in the Sunshine Coast, so be ready to climb the 300 flights of stairs and get snapping on your camera. The track can be easily located when driving north from Montville on Kondalilla Falls Road.
