BASK is one of the Sunshine Coast’s newest restaurants that is already making a big name for itself on the Sunshine Coast foodie scene, and certainly for good reason. Located originally Eumundi in the Noosa hinterland, and now in Peregian Beach, BASK seasonal menus are designed to be shared over a long, lazy lunch while the afternoon slowly passes you by with good conversation, great food and wine.
Owners Jess Collican and Chef Jack Madden’s have a strong passion for food and design, using local produce to create a perfect mix of simplicity and sophistication. Set high off the street in a lux tropical environment with swathes of soft white fabric elegantly decorating the sprawling outside deck offering an intimate dining venue with an emphasis on fresh produce and locally caught Sunshine Coast seafood.

Their new menu has been carefully curated to suit both omnivores and herbivores with a tempting array of entrees, mains and dessert options to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters.
Start off with Jammy onion & anchovy ‘tart’ and house baked country loaf with whipped almond cream, before whetting your appetite with torched ocean trout with local honey, seeded mustard & tahini. Savour the flavours of beef rump cap with black garlic butter and potato gratin.
If you prefer the herbivorous cuisine, you’ll be spoiled with a caramelised onion tartlet with wild mushroom paste, together with roasted pumpkin, local honey, seeded mustard with a tahini glaze. Of course, no long lunch would be complete without a delicate sweet finish and BASK does not disappoint. Indulge yourself with a chocolate roulade and roasted rhubarb cream – a perfect finishing touch to a superb culinary experience.
The service at BASK is second to none. The wait staff are knowledgeable about each menu choice and offer exceptional unobtrusive service.
