Noosa River Transport

 

Our favourite way to see Noosa is by the water!

 

The Noosa Ferry is a great service and a relaxing, eco-friendly way to get around. From the Hastings Street Sofitel Jetty to the Noosa Marina the Noosa Ferry includes 7 convenient pick-up and drop off locations. It’s all too easy with the ferry operating every 45 minutes between 8am and 6pm. The return ticket is the best option for visitors wanting to check out the sites and attractions along the way.

 

The Noosa River Ferry also offer the Noosa River Ferry Cruise, the Noosa River Sunset Cruise, and provide Noosa River charter ideal for weddings and special occasions.

 

Public Transport

 

Catching the bus in Noosa can be a great alternative to taking the car out.

 

There are several services available that get you to and from local destinations, with buses every 15 minutes between Tewantin and Noosa Heads from 7am to 6pm daily.

Christmas Free Bus Service

 

To help visitors get around during the busy Christmas school holiday period, Noosa Council has numerous free public transport options, including the Go Noosa free bus and park-and-ride services.

 

Noosa bike Hire

 

Who doesn’t love an enjoyable bike ride and with so many Noosa villages connected by scenic bike and walking paths. Noosa has an abundance of bike hire options, with the locals choice being Bike On, LecycloSportifs and Eco Tekk e-bikes to help you sustainably get around on your holiday.

 

Noosa Scooter Hire

 

A lot a fun is to be had when hiring a scooter in Noosa. Fantastic for scootering around the different beaches, national parks and Hastings Street. Noosa has lots of designated scooter parking so it is perfect to get a great spot. 

 

Scooter Mania has beginner friendly 50cc 4 stroke petrol scooters, or zippy 2 stroke 50cc scooters to hire which don’t require a motorbike licence. If you’re after a more powerful scooter to carry a passenger, they have sporty 150cc 4 stroke petrol scooters provided you have a full motorbike licence of course!
