Local Guide | Marcus Beach

“The small suburb of Marcus Beach sits between the expansive national park and pristine surf beach, located only a short 10-minute scenic drive from the renowned Noosa Heads.”

Whilst this beach is not patrolled by surf life savers, it is popular among locals and visitors as it offers a relaxed and secluded beach experience. It is much loved by dog owners for its pet-friendly expanse of shoreline, leading all the way to Peregian Beach. You and your pet will be welcomed with open arms by the friendly locals of the area.

Only a short 2-minute drive from Marcus Beach will lead you to the town of Peregian Beach, where everything you need is positioned conveniently within the town square. Boutique shopping, local markets, relaxed dining, local cafes and essential supermarket are all found here.

Take a break from the beach and immerse yourself in one of Australia’s most popular walking trails in the national park. These family-friendly trails take you from the sandy dunes of Marcus Beach to the bushland of Castaways Beach. Explore the pristine coastal waters,  rainforest plants and native animals along the way. Connect with nature in this peaceful town and take advantage of the divine sunsets.
