Peregian Beach itself, is a well known surf-beach. There are great views up to Sunshine Beach to the north and Coolum to the south. From June to November, sightings of Humpback whales are common.
One of the outstanding aspects of Peregian Beach is the balance between nature and infrastructure. There is a pulsing community centre, great accommodation options all within easy access to nature and pristine Peregian Beach.
Peregian township buzzes with activity but still retains a quiet, coastal village charm. There’s boutique shopping with creative home and gift ware stores, fashion outlets and eateries including Zachery’s Pizza Bar, Raw Café, Pitchfork and Wahoo Seafood Restaurant.
The Peregian Markets are held every first and third Sunday of the Month and are well worth the experience. The Peregian Originals presents musicians performing only original music in Peregian Beach Park, on the second Sunday of each month from 1-5pm.
